Author Santos Vallejo from Pharr, Texas! Our 1st and 2nd graders welcomed Author Santos Vallejo to our school today. Mr. Vallejo captivated our students with his reading of "Little Santos", his book about growing up with a reading disability, bullying, and achieving his goal of becoming a firefighter! We thank you Mr. Vallejo for sharing your experiences with our students and being an excellent example of fighting for your dreams! You enlightened and inspired young hearts today!
